  Job Summary

  Rivia Mind is expanding our distinguished Psychiatry team with an opportunity for a BoardCertified Psychiatrist who values clinical excellence and comprehensive patient care. As a physicianfounded practice, we understand the importance of creating an environment where psychiatrists can practice meaningfully, supported by a robust operational infrastructure.

  Youll work within our multidisciplinary team of 130+ mental health professionals while maintaining the decisionmaking authority essential to psychiatric practice.

    Job Responsibilities & Qualifications
    Patient Care (70%)
    • Provide evidencebased psychotherapy and medication management

        • Responsibilities

          • Provide excellent quality clinical care on a frequent, recurring basis that exemplifies Rivia Mind’s culture, values, and guiding principles
            • Provide services to a diverse demographic of patients with an average caseload of 50 patients per week around 812 per day (Caseload numbers may vary based on clinical judgment, patient needs, etc.).
            • Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop curated patientcentered treatment plans.
            • Curate comprehensive patientcentered treatment plans and provide resources as needed.
            • Provide appropriate Psychotherapy practices that leverage various modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, etc.) with proper Psychopharmacology prescribing practices.
            • Appropriately prescribe medication prescriptions & refills, considering the best judgment of the patients wellbeing.
            • Provides clinical support & counseling to diverse patient populations in a telehealth environment.
            • Provide clinical guidance and valued input to patients and peers.
            • Comply with clinical standards and adhere to timely and thorough session note documentation. (i.e. Notes submitted by EOW)
            • • Participate in and support routine and adhoc clinicalwide meetings and internal trainings to foster an engaging and continuous learning team environment.

              • Provide support to Psychiatric Supervisors as needed for coverage and other administrative tasks.

              • Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

                Required Education Level: Doctorate

                Education Details:

                • Earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited school
                • Completed a Psychiatry residency program, completing diverse rotations including Primary Care within the training program
                • • Additional residencies appreciated are: Neurology, Internal Medicine, and ObstetricsGynecology

                  • LicensureCertification Requirements

                    • Active and in good standing license for at least one of these states:
                      • New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, or Massachusetts as a Medical Doctor
                      • • Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine and a DEA number for at least one of the states listed above
                        • Board certified in Psychiatry

                        • Additional Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

                          • Ideally, 1 (one) or more years of postresidency clinical work experience in Psychiatry, but we will consider recent graduates
                          • Interest in growing into a Supervisory role within our practice
                          • Proven experience and desire to support Psychotherapy treatment
                            • Psychotherapy Modality experience (CBT, DBT, etc.)
                            • Psychodynamic Modality experience preferred
                            • • Experience working with Patients in an Outpatient setting
                              • Telehealthtelemedicine experience
                              • Prescribes Medications
                              • Confidently and efficiently document concurrently within patient sessions
                              • Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills
                              • Patient Education
                              • Diagnosis and Treatment Planning
                              • Proficient with utilizing diverse technology platforms and systems (Google Suite, companywide platformssoftware, and EHR platforms when applicable)

                                                      Compensation & Employment Details
                                                      Pay Range: $220,000 to $300,000 base salary
                                                      Pay Type: Salary
                                                      Bonus Terms: Our compensation package includes a base salary based on compensable factors. Additionally, clinicians are eligible for quarterly bonuses of up to $2,000 (up to $8,000 annually), awarded based on defined metrics related to clinical excellence and care model performance.

                                                      Work Schedule
                                                      We collaborate with each provider to determine a mutually beneficial and sustainable schedule. Our focus is to develop a supportive schedule that meets both the needs of our patients and the providers preferences. Your schedule will be determined with you before starting the role.
                                                      • Our operating hours are MF: 8 am to 8 pm and Saturday: 9 am to 5 pm, but we do allow a schedule to have a start as early as 7 am, and end as late as 9 pm MF.
                                                        • Inoffice day is based on availability if hybrid work is preferred
                                                        • • Include at least four(4)+ hours within your schedule, which should be after 5 pm on a weekday or have hours on the weekend.
                                                          • Oncall is not required, but checking and responding to emails on unscheduled days is required unless on PTO.
                                                          • Having a consistent weekly schedule is necessary, but start and end times per day can be different each day of the week, as a set recurring schedule.
                                                          • We appreciate the dedication and care our providers bring to their work and the patients they serve. Occasional flexibility may be needed to accommodate patient needs or support the growth of your caseload, such as scheduling initial consultations, managing urgent concerns, coordinating care with the broader team, and completing other responsibilities.
