Your Impact
We are looking for a quality-driven and proactive Software Development Engineer to support testing of the TDS Suite. This position will be under an Employer of Record (EoR) agreement. In this role, you will:
  • Own and execute testing activities across web-based applications and integrations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and QA leadership to ensure thorough coverage and timely feedback.
  • Participate in manual testing to support the foundation of future automation.
  • Work within an agile environment, contributing to quality from planning through release.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the creation and execution of test plans and test cases based on product requirements.
  • Participate in testing customer-specific environments and configurations, including validating new features or investigating issues during customer sessions.
  • Perform hands-on functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing.
  • Use TestRail for documentation of test cases and execution reporting.
  • Log and triage defects, follow through with developers for resolution.
  • Use Postman to validate REST API responses and help debug backend issues.
  • Provide input during sprint planning and product refinements to identify risk and edge cases.
  • Collaborate with QA leadership on improving processes and QA coverage.
  • Support efforts toward future automation strategy and tooling.

What You'll Bring
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
  • 3+ years of QA experience – Solid background in testing web and enterprise applications.
  • Strong manual testing skills – Proficient in exploratory testing, test planning, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with key QA tools – Hands-on experience using TestRail, Jira, Confluence, and Postman.
  • Technical testing knowledge – Comfortable working with Oracle/PLSQL and JavaScript-based systems.
  • Clear communication and autonomy – Able to articulate findings effectively and solve problems independently.
Bonus points if you bring:
  • Test automation experience – Exposure to Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
  • Domain-specific knowledge – Familiarity with badge printing (e.g., Zebra, Brother) and RFID-based workflows.
  • Data validation skills – Ability to write SQL queries to verify and analyze test data.
  • Multi-platform testing experience – Understanding of testing across mobile, tablet, and browser environments.
