Job Description:

As a Senior Product Manager - Orchestration at Itential, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, key objectives and roadmap for our orchestration product portfolio. You will own the Studio and Canvas products as well as the Lifecycle Manager Product. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, user experience, operations, and marketing to develop innovative solutions that enhance customer experiences and meet key business objectives. This role involves performing market research, analyzing customer feedback, and using data-driven insights to prioritize features and improvements. You will also engage with stakeholders across Itential to align goals, manage project timelines, and ensure the successful launch and improvements of products that maintain Itential's standards for quality and effectiveness. Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills are essential to excel in this position.


Key Responsibilities:

Develop Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the orchestration product portfolio that aligns with business objectives and customer needs. Use market insights, customer feedback, and data analysis to guide product direction for workflow automation and lifecycle management solutions.

Product Roadmap Execution: Create and manage product roadmaps for Automation Studio Products and LifeCycle Manager that address customer pain points and improve experience. Prioritize features and resources across multiple interconnected products, ensuring timely delivery of projects that meet quality standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work effectively with diverse teams, including engineering, marketing, design, analytics, and sales, to drive product development and go-to-market strategies for orchestration and automation solutions.

Customer Insights and Feedback: Collect and analyze customer and market feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements and innovation in workflow automation, template management, and lifecycle orchestration. Be the voice of the customer in all interactions and decisions.

Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to make informed product decisions across the orchestration portfolio. Monitor and report on product performance and make recommendations for enhancements that improve automation efficiency and user experience.

Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market plans for orchestration products, including launches, customer rollout, and post-launch analysis focused on automation adoption and workflow optimization.

Mentoring and Leadership: Mentor and lead product management team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the orchestration domain.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years experience in product management, specifically in the areas of automation, orchestration, workflow management, or related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of automation platforms, workflow engines, template systems, and orchestration frameworks.
  • Familiarity with DevOps/NetDevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation toolchains.
  • Knowledge of API design, microservices architecture, and integration patterns for orchestration systems.
  • Experience with workflow visualization tools, form builders, and template management systems.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple interconnected products simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of software development processes and hands on experience working with Agile-driven engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or related field.
  • Demonstrated success in managing lifecycle of automation and orchestration products from inception through rollout and beyond.
  • Understanding of enterprise automation requirements and scalability considerations for large-scale deployments.
  • Ability to integrate compliance and governance requirements into automation workflows and lifecycle management processes.
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of orchestration and automation services.
  • Experience with network automation tools, infrastructure as code (IaC), and configuration management platforms.
  • Experience in SaaS, automation platforms, and enterprise workflow management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive product development and launch initiatives for complex automation solutions.
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making in technical automation environments.
