About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager Product Owner to play a pivotal role in a largescale technology transformation program for a major gaming company. This is a longterm, highimpact initiative aimed at modernising core platforms, improving scalability, and enabling future growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining the strategic priorities for modernisation, ensuring that technology and business objectives are fully aligned. You will provide direction, structure, and focus—helping the engineering teams prioritise key initiatives, assess tradeoffs, and deliver measurable impact.

This is a highly technical product leadership role that requires someone who can balance technical complexity with strategic decisionmaking, ensuring that modernisation efforts not only reduce technical debt but also create tangible business value.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Technology Strategy & Roadmap Definition

• Define and drive the vision, priorities, and sequencing of modernisation efforts.
• Align technical decisions with broader business, product, and commercial objectives.
• Ensure modernisation efforts lead to scalability, flexibility, and efficiency improvements.

  • Translate highlevel transformation goals into structured, actionable roadmaps.
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to balance quick wins with longterm impact.
  • Define key success metrics to measure progress and value creation.

    🔹 Stakeholder Management & Communication

    • Act as a bridge between technology teams and senior leadership (CTO, VPs of Engineering, Product, and Growth).
    • Provide clarity and direction to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
    • Ensure alignment across multiple teams, functions, and decisionmakers.

      Technical Areas of Value
      

      While this is a strategic role, a strong technical foundation will be highly valuable. Experience with the following will be beneficial:

      
      ✅Game Engines & Clients: Unity or other game engines.
      ✅Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other NoSQLrelational DBs.
      ✅Containerisation & Cloud: Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and cloud platforms (GCP and AWS).
      ✅ Architecture: Experience with scalable distributed systems, microservices, and REST APIdriven architectures.
      ✅ DevOps & CICD: Understanding of infrastructure automation and deployment pipelines.

      
      

      
      

      Preferred Experience & Qualifications
      

      📌Minimum 8 years of experience in Product Management.

      🎮Experience in Mobile Gaming – Strong plus.
      🎓Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science (Required).
      🎓MBA or Master’s in Engineering – Nice to have.
