Job Description

The purpose of this role is to ensure customer satisfaction by providing expert second and thirdlevel support for VoIP systems, managing requirements engineering, network configurations, and system deployments. This includes training customer employees and maintaining communication, always focusing on customer satisfaction.

Operations Tasks:

  • Deployments (remote or onsite incl. international travelling)
    • support Sipwise customers in terms of setup and operation of voice telephony and
    • stay in continuous communication with them.
      • Technical trainings in English (remote or on customer´s site)
      • 2nd level support for and monitoring of customer projects
      • Ticketing bug tracking, troubleshoot and fix.
      • Testing: Reconfigure Sipwise lab environments to closely match customer configurations or to new scenarios
      • Oncall duty (extra paid, max. 1 weekmonth)
        • PreSales Task:

          • Leading Demo sessions for potential customers (remote) with Sales colleague
            • Qualifications

              Musthaves:

              • Professional experience in VoIP (SIP protocol)
              • Good knowledge in Linux
              • Understanding of (Cisco) switches andor dynamic routing protocols
              • Fluent in English, spoken and written
              • Willingness to travel (max. 10%)
                • Nicetohaves:

                  • Networking knowledge
                  • SQL with focus on MySQL user and admin skills
                  • Experience with SIPdevices, IP and Ethernetnetworks
