Job Description

Mission:

The Principal, GrosstoNet position at IntegriChain is part of a team of industry experts who leverage their Life Sciences expertise to analyze, model, and synthesize secondary information and provide insights to our GrosstoNet (GTN) customers. We are looking for candidates who can quickly jump into an organization and solve their forecasting and accrual accounting needs as a consultative part of their FPA team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate highlevel analytical thinking and must be experienced with leveraging financial systems. Manage and drive Customer GTN Close and Forecast processes by leading and supporting the following:

  • Drive Customer GTN Close and Forecast processes:
    • Prepare monthly revenue related journal entries and ledger account reconciliations,
    • Perform trueups based on actual versus accrued GTN deduction items,
    • Conduct reconciliations of actual transaction data to the associated accrual assumptions,
    • Analyze, explain, and meaningfully summarize GTN variances to customers,
    • Alert customers to potential changes that may affect their business,
    • Test production deployments and provide clear QA feedback and observations,
    • Ensure success of product enhancements to GTN systems.
          • Drive customer success:
            • Show customers the value of our solutions by leveraging your subject matter expertise and industry knowledge,
            • Review team deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness,
            • Provide indepth analyses and recommendations to customers around critical GTN business processes,
            • Create and suggest improvements to streamline and automate the GTN process, while advising and supporting customers in implementing these enhancements,
            • Share insights on GTN liabilities across various channels including government and commercial.
                • Qualifications
                  • Minimum B.A. B.S., CPA or MBA preferred with majors in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar
                  • 3 5 years of life sciences industry experience with recommended 35 years of accounting experience working on the customer side or at a consultancy
                  • Deep understanding of the US GAAP principles related to revenue recognition and GTN accounting practices
                  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical supply chain and contracting, as well as understanding the relationship to data flows through GTN models – including but not limited to direct sales, chargebacks, rebates, and copay data.
                  • Experience as the customerfacing consulting lead for complex GTN activities and deliverables – ability to deeply describe all steps, approaches, pitfalls, and how to mitigate risk and achieve success
                  • Ability to manage employees of various levels
                  • Business analytical skills, a high accuracy rate, and attention to detail
                  • Exhibit superior communication and influencing skills: oral, written, listening and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to teach, train and grow the capabilities of others
                  • Excellent understanding of crossfunctional teamwork
                  • Proven management experience with building teams, coaching, developing, and performance management
                  • Ability to establish processes and controls to satisfy routine internalexternal audits
