This is a remote position.

Role Name: Business Development Representative

Schedule:

  • Parttime: 4 hours per day, 5 days per week
  • 2 PM to 6 PM Monday to Friday
    • Client Timezone: Eastern Time (Canada)

      Job Description

      This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic mortgage brokerage as they scale their agent recruitment efforts. You’ll be at the forefront of business development, conducting strategic outreach to experienced mortgage professionals and playing a crucial role in the company’s expansion. This position combines the excitement of B2B sales with the satisfaction of connecting talented professionals with growth opportunities. You’ll work with a comprehensive database of industry contacts while utilizing cuttingedge CRM technology and automation systems. This role offers the perfect blend of independence, professional growth, and direct impact on company success in a thriving industry.


      Responsibilities
      • Conduct targeted outbound calls to experienced mortgage agents at competing brokerages to generate interest in joining our client’s growing network
      • Deliver client or internal presentations when the Sales Manager is unavailable.
      • Execute presales conversations that effectively communicate value propositions and identify qualified prospects
      • Schedule and coordinate appointments with experienced mortgage professionals, targeting 2 highquality appointments per day
      • Qualify leads through strategic questioning and pass qualified prospects to senior management for presentations and closing
      • Maintain accurate prospect information and activity tracking in Monday.com CRM system
      • Leverage automated email workflows integrated with Twilio to maintain consistent followup communication
      • Work within peak response time windows to maximize connection rates and appointment conversion
      • Collaborate with internal team to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion metrics

        • Requirements
          • Proven experience with CRM systems, with Monday.com experience highly preferred
          • Proficiency with professional calling platforms, particularly RingCentral
          • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone
          • B2B sales or recruitment experience, preferably in financial services or mortgage industry
          • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity
          • Understanding of mortgage industry dynamics and agent recruitment processes is a strong asset
          • Selfmotivated with excellent time management skills and ability to meet daily appointment targets
          • Professional demeanor when representing the company to industry professionals
          • Comfortable working with established databases and lead management systems
