xScion Solutions is looking for a highly experienced Microsoft Purview Tech Lead to

architect, configure, and validate a turnkey sensitivity classification framework and DLP solution. You will guide the implementation of Purview across on‑prem and cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration with Microsoft 365, Azure, and endpoint management.


As a Microsoft Purview Tech Lead, You Will:

  • Design end‑to‑end classification and DLP architecture using Microsoft Purview, aligning to client’s functional and technical requirements (classification, DLP policies, monitoring, incident management).
  • Configure sensitive information types, trainable classifiers, and sensitivity labels; automate labeling via content, context, and metadata‑driven rules.
  • Integrate Purview with Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Azure services, and supported third‑party SaaS.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code scripts (ARM or Bicep) for reproducible, hybridcloud deployments.
  • Lead proof‑of‑concept and pilot exercises; validate performance, scalability (users and TBs of data), and compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA, SOX).
  • Collaborate with the Project Lead to define milestones in Microsoft Planner and prepare architecture diagrams and solution documentation.
  • Mentor xScion consultants and liaise with client stakeholders to ensure alignment and knowledge transfer.


    • To Be Successful, You Need:

      • Permanent Residency or US Citizenship
      • Microsoft 365 Certified: Information Protection Administrator andor Microsoft Purview Compliance certifications.
      • 5+ years implementing Microsoft Information Protection and DLP solutions, including at least 2 full Purview deployments (on‑prem and Microsoft 365).
      • Deep expertise with Sensitivity Labels, trainable classifiers, DLP policies, and Purview APIs.
      • Hands‑on experience integrating Purview with Defender for Cloud Apps, Azure Sentinel, and Microsoft Defender.
      • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, REST API).
      • Proven track record of delivering turnkey, enterprise‑grade security solutions in regulated environments.
        • Desired Skills (Plus Points):

          • Familiarity with non‑Microsoft data sources (SQL Server, file shares, SharePoint 2019).
          • Experience with Rights Management Service (RMS), Azure Information Protection.
          • Excellent client‑facing communication and workshop facilitation skills.
