Junior HR Business Partner

The Gold Standard Foundation, a Not for Profit organisation, are hiring a Human Resources Business Partner who will focus on business partnering support for the UK and India.

In this role you will act as the primary HR point of contact, in a Not for Profit organisation for employees and managers, support learning and performance cycles and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

This role will suit someone with experience in working in a matrixed and globally dispersed organization (preferably in an NGO or nonprofit environment) who is looking to play a pivotal role in fostering a high quality employee experience and advancing the HR workplan in alignment with Gold Standard’s mission and goals.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers especially related to UK and India, resolving HRrelated queries through the HR helpdesk and direct engagement.

Deliver comprehensive HR operational support throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, talent management, onboarding, probation, contract changes, and offboarding.

Support the HR team with performance management cycle, ensuring timely communication of timelines and consistent application of processes for the relevant regions (UK, India).

Identify training needs and support the implementation of learning and development initiatives, including management of the online learning platform.

Collaborate on crossfunctional process improvements that enhance HR service delivery and employee engagement.

Have responsibility in key HR projects including contributing to different workstreams of GS People and Culture project work

Ensure HR policies and practices are compliant with UK and India laws and regulations and be familiar with employment law in other jurisdictions.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Progressive HR experience, with a strong background in recruitment, HR operations, or generalist HR functions.

Relevant HR Certification(s) such as SHRM, SPHR, GPHR, CIPD etc.

Proven ability to manage projects, prioritise tasks, and deliver within tight timelines with high attention to detail.

Experience in business support to both a UK and Indian workforce

Demonstrated experience in managing confidential matters with discretion, diplomacy, and tact.

Ability to work independently and lead distinct areas of HR service delivery.

Familiarity with international HR operations and stakeholder management across multiple jurisdictions.

Strong interest in employee engagement and people operations and a people centric approach.

Fluency in English is required.
