ROLE OVERVIEW

It’s an exciting time to join Green Man Gaming as we are growing our eCommerce division. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their digital marketing career to join a dynamic & forwardthinking eCommerce business within the exciting video games industry.

Requirements

KEY DELIVERABLES

  • Supporting the daytoday running of Green Man Gaming’s paid media marketing channels across Search & Social, including: Google, Meta, X (Twitter), Reddit, Tik Tok, Discord and other platforms you’ve had success with.
  • Planning and running performance led marketing campaigns around key business events such as product releases and sale periods.
  • Planning and running engaging, always on campaigns across our paid social channels to grow Green Man Gaming’s visibility amongst our core audience.
  • Setting up and monitoring campaigns, including ad copy and creative development, targetsetting, optimisation and internal reporting.
  • Working with our design team to build suitable assets for different ad placements and storyboarding videos and memes.
  • Monitoring spend, reporting on bids and budgets with a view on the changing needs of the business to ensure costofsale targets are met.
  • Keeping up to date with digital marketing best practice and trends.
  • Undertake other adhoc projects that may be assigned from time to time.
    • YOU HAVE

      Skills

      • A demonstrable record of delivering essential retail related KPIs such as traffic, new customer acquisition, revenue and margin through paid marketing campaigns.
      • A strong understanding and appreciation of digital marketing fundamentals and a hunger to build even more experience in this field.
      • Show examples of creative flair and the ability to generate engaging content across a variety of platforms.
      • Selfmotivated and collaborative, able to work independently and within a team, multitask, drive projects and meet deadlines.
      • A proactive attitude with a focus on finding solutions and commitment to achieving results.
      • The ability to develop innovative and engaging marketing campaigns.
      • Good copy writing skills with an understanding of SEO fundamentals.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as these will be crucial for creating marketing copy, delivering presentations, and building relationships.
        • Experience

          • Proven experience in community management andor social media marketing.
          • Degree or equivalent experience working within marketing.
          • Strong understanding of the video games industry and its communities.
          • Experience supporting a video game publisher or developer across their social media accounts.
