• About the Role

  As a software engineer, you will contribute to the design and development of new software. Keep uptodate on cutting edge technologies and effectively incorporate that knowledge to our platform roadmap, design and implementation. Work closely with leaders, developers, QA and designer to turn design ideas into features that scale to millions of users.

  What You Will Do

  • You will mainly work on HARMAN Quantum ENGINE software development area
  • Work closely with leaders, developers, QA and designer to turn design ideas into features that scale to millions of users
  • Take pride in quality test, track, and monitor features that you ship to our customers and actively fix issues that crop up
  • Work with technical leaders, managers and product stakeholders to define and design the technical solution
  • Communicate solution approaches to enterprise architects, project team and other stakeholders
  • Keep uptodate on cutting edge technologies and effectively incorporate that knowledge to our platform roadmap, design and implementation
  • Define the technical requirements for the implementation of the solution

    What You Need to Be Successful

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
    • 5+ years of macOS software development experience. At least 2+ years of macOS audio development experience. Able to work independently and also collaborate with focused teams
    • Rich handson knowledge of macOS Audio Unit and Audio Driver Kit
    • Proficient with ObjectiveC and Swift programing, CC++C# development experience is preferred. Experience in multithread, multiprocess, memory sharing, socket communication programming technology
    • Experience in Debugging Bug fixing needed with proper software and hardware tools
    • Understands system & product architecture, requirements and proficient in design from the embedded system challenges with ownership
    • Good communication skills to interact with international counterparts professionally

      • You are willing to travel, if necessary
      • Due to the nature of global infrastructure, you understand that flexibility in working hours is required
      • You can obtain a government security clearance; You are eligible to work in China
