Job Description

All Care Therapies is seeking a handson Controller to oversee our core accounting and financial functions. This role will lead the monthly close process, ensure the integrity of financial reporting, and drive internal controls and accounting best practices. This pivotal role will be a handson leader, and will bring deep technical expertise, operational rigor, and a proactive mindset to help scale the company’s financial infrastructure. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our accounting and financial systems and is suited for someone who thrives in dynamic, growthoriented environments.

Primary responsibility will be to meticulously lead and manage the entire monthly (and quarterly yearly) close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.

Beyond routine operations, the Controller will be a key driver in establishing, implementing, and maintaining robust internal controls. This encompasses developing and enforcing accounting policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement, and mitigating financial risks. The role also requires a commitment to continuously driving accounting best practices across the organization, fostering a culture of financial excellence and accountability.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Compliance

    • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes

    • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP

    • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules

      • Accounting Operations

        • Lead general ledger, accounts payablereceivable, payroll accounting, and bank reconciliations

        • Implement and manage internal controls and accounting policies

        • Manage and optimize accounting systems and workflows

          • Budgeting & Forecasting

            • Support budgeting and forecasting efforts in partnership with leadership

            • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform strategic decisionmaking

              • Audit & Tax

                • Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings

                • Maintain documentation and processes to support clean audit opinions

                  • Team Leadership

                    • Supervise and develop a small accounting team (operations with India based employees)

                    • Partner crossfunctionally on operational improvements and financial insights

                        • Compensation based on experience $110,000 – $125,000. Performancebased bonuses may be offered. This is a fulltime, remote position with comprehensive benefits.

                          Qualifications

                          Requirements

                          • Strong working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls

                          • Proficiency in accounting systems (particularly NetSuite) and Excel

                          • Detailoriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills

                          • Clear communicator and dependable partner to leadership

                          • Ability to lead and mentor teams in a remote environment

                          • Pacific Time Zone required

                          • Experience in healthcare, multientity environments, or servicebased industries a plus


                            • Education

                              Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required)

                              Experience

                              5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including experience as an Assistant Controller
