About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing robust automation frameworks and test strategies to ensure the quality of our cuttingedge web applications and APIs. You will leverage your expertise in Playwright, TypeScript, and API testing to build efficient and reliable automated tests, contributing significantly to our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD) pipeline. You also bring your unique perspective into testing for quality by working with product and engineering teams to define and maintain your team’s test suite.

How you’ll make an impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites using Playwright and TypeScript for both UI and API testing.

  • Collaborate with product and engineering to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.

  • Perform exploratory and manual testing as needed

  • Become a subject matter expert on your team’s product area

  • Bring your curiosity to ensure stories are well refined and testable.

  • Implement and execute automated tests across various test levels (e.g., endtoend, integration, component).

  • Perform thorough API testing using tools like Postman and automate API testing using Playwright.

  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.

  • Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

  • Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends and technologies in software testing and automation.

    • Requirements
      • Must have a C1 or above proficiency in English

      • 3+ years of expertise in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.

      • Experience in writing and maintaining test cases and suites at a team level

      • Previous experience in Scrum methodologies

      • Proven experience with API testing using tools like Postman and automating API tests.

      • Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web application architecture.

      • Comfortable running a development environment locally for testing purposes.

      • Experience with CICD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
