About this role:
This is a senior leadership opportunity to own and execute the data vision for TrueML Products. The Director of Engineering, Data will provide strategic and technical leadership for our Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Services teams. This role is central to our mission and will be responsible for scaling our data infrastructure, enriching our machine learning capabilities, and ensuring the seamless delivery of datadriven products.
You will be the key leader responsible for the entire data lifecycle, from ingestion and transformation to model development and insights generation. By leading and mentoring a talented group of managers and engineers, you will empower the organization to fully leverage its data assets. Your work will be critical to advancing our strategic pillar of Trusted ML Decisioning & Insights and will directly impact business outcomes for our clients and their consumers.

Responsibilities
Define and drive the overarching vision, strategy, and roadmap for TrueMLs data platform, encompassing Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Services.
Lead, mentor, and grow a highperforming organization of data and engineering professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and execution.
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for data infrastructure, ML model development and deployment, and data delivery systems.
Collaborate with executive leadership, Product Management, and other Engineering leaders to ensure the data strategy aligns with company objectives and product needs.
Oversee the development of scalable data pipelines, robust machine learning models, and reliable data services that power our AIdriven products.
Champion best practices in data governance, data quality, MLOps , and ethical AI across the organization.
Drive the optimization of key business domains, including Consumer Engagement, Offers & Payments, and the Obligation Lifecycle, through the application of advanced data techniques.
Communicate strategy, progress, and results effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data engineering, data science, and machine learning to ensure TrueML remains at the forefront of innovation.
Maintain a strong understanding of data privacy regulations
Bachelors degree in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
12+ years of experience in a datafocused role (Data Engineering, Data Science), including 4+ years in a leadership and people management capacity; including experience managing other managers.
Proven experience leading multiple technical teams and managing other managers.
Deep technical expertise in modern data architectures, including data warehousing, ETLELT processes, data streaming, and cloudbased data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong understanding of the machine learning lifecycle, from conception and model development to deployment and monitoring in a production environment.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a longterm technical strategy that aligns with business goals.
Proven ability to lead complex, longterm, crossfunctional technical initiatives from concept to completion.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and guide teams across the organization.
A datadriven approach to decisionmaking, with experience in defining and analyzing performance metrics to measure impact and ROI.
Experience operating in a fastpaced, agile environment.
