About the role:
This B2B Event Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Brand Marketing. The primary objective is to own and manage the endtoend logistics of companyattended conferences and tradeshows — including planning, execution, communication, and postevent reporting.
You will be the primary point of contact for conference organizers, venues, and vendors, ensuring that all event requirements, deadlines, and expectations are met with precision and professionalism. This role requires strong organizational discipline, proactive communication, and the ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining sharp attention to detail. Success in this role means being two steps ahead — anticipating needs, identifying gaps early, and ensuring events are executed smoothly from start to finish.
You’ll have an opportunity to showcase your creativity in designing impactful event experiences and contribute directly to Tyfone’s brand visibility, demand generation, and customer engagement.
Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
Own the full lifecycle of companysponsored and attended events, from early planning to postevent debriefs and ROI reporting.
Proactively identify and recommend events that align with marketing and sales priorities.
Build detailed preconference plans including goals, budget estimates, staffing plans, swagmaterials inventory, travel, logistics, and deliverables.
Ensure complete and timely execution of tasks including booth coordination, sponsor deliverables, shipping, registrations, hotel blocks, AV needs, and meals.
Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure all event elements are planned, communicated, and aligned with team goals.
Act as the point person onsite for most events — solving problems, managing logistics, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Track and report on event performance, attendee engagement, and followup deliverables (e.g. ROI, lead quality, booth traffic, etc.).
Maintain and manage conference inventory: booth equipment, displays, signage, and promotional materials — ensuring accurate tracking and shipping.
Maintain uptodate documentation for all events, including timelines, checklists, vendor contracts, attendee schedules, and debrief notes.
Create and maintain a rolling event calendar and deliverable tracker with clear deadlines and ownership.
Support speaker coordination, session prep, and sponsor deliverables as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
3–5+ years of experience in B2B event management, preferably in tech or financial services.
Proven ability to independently manage multiple complex events simultaneously.
Exceptional attention to detail — catches small things, anticipates needs, and checks work twice.
Highly organized with strong ownership of tasks, followthrough, and deadline accountability.
Clear, timely communicator who is proactive in flagging risks, delays, or changes — no surprises.
Experience managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and preparing postevent ROI summaries.
Ability to lead without authority — builds strong relationships across teams, vendors, and other stakeholders and keeps people on task and accountable.
Willing to get into the weeds when needed — from vendor logistics to booth setup.
Comfortable working independently and adapting to changing priorities.
Travel up to 20%.
