About the roleWe’re looking for a QAdriven Project Owner — someone who’s spent at least 2–3 years in QA roles and is now ready to own the delivery process end to end. You’ll be responsible for verifying implementation quality, catching issues early, managing timelines, and ensuring that no feature goes live without your green light.
There is no separate QA team — you’ll be the last line of defense. That means you’ll test manually, manage delivery, push developers when needed, and ensure product specs are followed to the letter.
Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the quality owner across all product releases — nothing goes live without your review.
Conduct thorough manual QA (UX, UI, logic, edge cases, responsiveness).
Convert product specs into detailed development tickets (in plane.so).
Prioritize and manage the backlog to ensure smooth sprint execution.
Track progress, unblock delays, and ensure deadlines are met.
Communicate status, blockers, and release readiness to stakeholders.
Maintain documentation of testing processes, bug reports, and spec alignment.
Own release checklists and coordinate deploymentsrollbacks when needed.
Qualifications2–4 years of QA experience in fastpaced product teams.
Experience in both manual functional testing and UIUX validation.
Basic understanding of APIs, browser dev tools, and mobile testing.
1–2 years of projectdelivery management experience or demonstrated ownership of task execution.
Familiarity with PM tools (e.g., plane.so, Notion, JIRA, Trello).
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize across multiple projects.
Ability to confidently push back when quality would be compromised.
Clear, concise communicator — especially around specs and bugs.
