Job description

Clario, a leader in endpoint data technology solutions for the clinical research industry, is expanding its operations in Budapest and seeks a highly organized and analytical Vendor Subcontracts & Management Manager to support our medical imaging projects across clinical trials and research initiatives.

This role is essential in ensuring accurate cost forecasting, effective subcontractor management, and robust supplier oversight. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams including Business Development, Project Management, Medical Scientists, Procurement, and Legal to drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, risk mitigation, and compliance.

What youll do:

Project Estimation:

  • Support proposal development and RFP responses with accurate financial inputs from third party vendor quotes

  • Collaborate with Business Development, Project Managers and Finance to align estimates with operational plans and sponsor expectations.

    • Subcontracts Administration:

      • Soliicit, edit, draft, negotiate, and manage contracts with third party vendors which may include: core labs, radiology service providers, and software vendors

      • Coordinate vendor onboarding, due diligence, and performance monitoring.

      • Manage contract initiation, amendments, change orders, and closeout documentation.

      • Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve contractrelated issues.

        • Contracting and Supplier Management:

          • Lead the endtoend contracting process, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and risk mitigation strategies.

          • In partnership with other stakeholders evaluate and select suppliers based on capability, quality, cost, and compliance.

          • Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and service providers.

          • Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, audits, and feedback loops to ensure service excellence.

          • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost optimization strategies across the imaging supplier base.

            • What we look for:

              • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.

              • 3+ years of experience in project budgeting, project estimation, or subcontractvendor management.

              • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

              • Strong negotiation, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.

              • Familiarity with medical imaging workflows, DICOM standards, and imaging data management platforms.

              • Experience working with CROs, academic institutions, or scientific life science service providers

              • Knowledge of regulatory and standards relevant to quality in clinical research.

              • Certification in Clinical Research, Contract Management, or Project Management is a plus.
