Job Description

WHAT DOES A PROGRAMMATIC TRADER DO?

The Programmatic Trader will join our inHouse programmatic team, which is within the media team. We are seeking a resultsdriven and detailoriented individual who has prior experience launching, managing and optimizing campaigns using demandside platforms to deliver positive outcomes for our clients. This person enjoys working within various platforms daytoday and the nitty gritty details that make up a programmatic campaign. The trader must be numbersoriented, analytical, an excelguru and a selfstarter. This person will also work with other internal teams such as Media Planning and Analytics to analyze, understand and implement campaign requirements and optimizations.

The Programmatic Traders primary role is to operate inplatform, executing campaigns that have been planned in partnership with the Programmatic Supervisor or other Programmatic leader. The Programmatic Trader is responsible for executing, managing and optimizing that work through the project lifecycle with varying input from the senior programmatic team.

Prior experience must include working within a DSP in a selfservice manner for a minimum of one year.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • The primary responsibility of the Programmatic Trader is the effective management and optimization of the live programmatic campaigns
  • Meeting client objectives while implementing and managing programmatic campaigns within agency trading desk
  • Monitoring and analyzing campaign expectations on performance, brand safety and viewability, to ensure the properagreed upon standards are met
  • Managing campaign calendar, assets, screenshots, billing tracker, all prepost launch processes
  • Data analysis and optimization; keep optimization log and date of all optimizations made
  • Providing performance snapshots and pacing on a weekly basis
  • Contributing to analytics reporting with optimizations made, additional insights and the context of those insights
  • Having the ability to identify and diagnose issues quickly and then escalate those issues to the proper internal stakeholder before they become major problems
  • Maintaining strong vendor and crossagency partner relationships
  • Demonstrating confidence and actively participate in internal and external meetings
  • Being a strong contributor to tactical media planning, including forecasting and estimation, in order to build programmatic media recommendations
  • Contributing to proposals, providing guidance on launch docs
  • Being able to identify new opportunities for media that dont already exist
  • Is able to stay abreast of new and emerging technologies, trends and practicesconsistently meeting with vendors
  • Is proactive with suggestions to improve the mediaprogrammatic process
    • Qualifications

      WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

      • 13 years of experience in this field is preferred
      • Deep understanding of relationship between DSP and other platforms (including ad server)
      • Proficient in demandside platforms
        • Able to properly set up all components of a campaign with DSP
        • Budget management
        • Campaign optimization
        • Understand creative testing and implementation rotation
        • Data analysis
          • Proficient in data platforms or working with data vendors
          • Proficient in 3rd party verification tools (i.e. DoubleVerify, IAS, other)
          • Proficient in Microsoft Office properties for daytoday operational projects and client presentations
          • Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
          • Ability to communicatepropose optimization recommendations with datadriven support
          • Identify trends in data to drive optimization
          • Communicate optimizations and shifts in media investments to meet campaign success goals; storytelling
          • Is a good collaborator – able to connect regularly with the larger media team on monthly dashboard and insights; collaboration with analytics, planning, etc. also may be necessary
          • Lead executional calls with multiple parties involved (i.e. kick off calls)
          • Identify issues; know when to escalate

              EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $56,000 to $84,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other jobrelated qualificationsskills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
