Job Description

We offer a meritbased workfromhome program based on job responsibilities. After initial training inperson, this specific role could have the flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.

Please note that we are not currently hiring fully remote positions. All candidates must have the ability to work in Lansing, Michigan.

AutoOwners Insurance, a toprated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Analytics Division as a Project Lead. Responsibilities are to manage the daytoday operational and tactical aspects of company projects. The position requires the person to:

• Coordinate work for projects involving multiple team members
• Create and execute project work plans to meet changing needs and requirements
• Help identify resources needed and work with leaders to assign individual tasks
• Prepare and review project‐related documents prepared by the team before passing along to stakeholders, ensuring they are complete, current, and stored appropriately
• Effectively apply project management methodologies and best practices
• Perform risk analysis and recommend actions to mitigate risk
• Ensure projects meet stakeholder objectives.

• Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from fouryear college or university, or several years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exhibit good levels of organization, communication, and leadership
  • Demonstrated track record of effectively working with individuals from different backgrounds and experience levels.
  • Strong problem resolution skills
  • Proven performance delivering highquality solutions on individual projects.
  • Ability to
    • write routine reports and correspondence
    • facilitate team meetings and handle project conflicts within and outside of the team
    • understand complex concepts related to the project
    • Inspire other team members to attain goals and pursue excellence
