Job description

We are seeking a Solution Specialist who will be responsible for helping to accelerate revenue growth across our lending solutions and services portfolio. In this role, you will work closely with Sales Relationship Managers, Sales Specialists and Client Services to identify opportunities, craft compelling solution strategies and support execution across the full sales cycle.

This role’s expertise in lending workflows, client challenges, and solution positioning will be critical in helping us win new business, expand within existing accounts, and deliver meaningful value to our clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Strategy & Sales Support

  • Partner with Sales Relationship Managers and Sales Specialists to develop customized strategies that align our lending solutions to client needs and goals.
  • Support key stages of the sales cycle, including discovery, solution mapping, demos, proposal development, and client presentations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in lending products, articulating how our services address operational, regulatory, and growth challenges.

 

Revenue Growth & Opportunity Management

  • Collaborate with the broader sales team to drive new revenue through cross-sell, upsell, and whitespace opportunities within financial institutions and lending organizations.
  • Identify key trends and use cases that can be leveraged to unlock new growth opportunities.
  • Support account planning and pipeline development for priority targets.

 

Internal Partnership & Enablement

  • Work hand-in-hand with Client Services to ensure a seamless transition from sale to delivery, while surfacing feedback that informs future sales approaches.
  • Deliver training, tools, and insights that help Sales Relationship Managers and Sales Specialists stay current on product capabilities, positioning, and competitive differentiators.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product to refine go-to-market messaging and develop client-facing content.

 

Market & Product Expertise

  • Stay up to date on industry regulations, lending technology trends, and competitor offerings to guide strategic client conversations.
  • Provide insights back to Product and Marketing teams to inform roadmap development and client communication strategies.

 

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of B2B and technology-based sales experience in the financial information services/data/credit space.
  • Proven consultative sales solution skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise return on investment value statement
  • A proven track record of overachieving quota
  • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree

 

Salary: 

Base salary starting from $130k plus commission target

Workplace Policy:

Trepp’s offices follow a 3-2 hybrid-working policy with the expectation of in-office work on Tuesday-Thursday and the option to work from home on Monday and Friday.
