Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with medical experts in ophthalmology.
  • Support clinical development initiatives, including site identification and trial recruitment.
  • Collaborate on medical affairs initiatives such as publications, advisory boards, and medical education.
  • Maintain effective communication among internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance.

Job description

Position Summary:

The Apellis MSL is a remote role focused on developing and maintaining peertopeer relationships with key medical experts. This role will primarily support the Apellis ophthalmology program. The MSL will collaborate with physicians and other medical experts to support trial enrollment, provide program and protocol training and ensure that health care professionals have the most up to date information as the clinical development programs mature.

Territory: Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky

Preferred Location: Cleveland, Ohio and Michigan
