Were seeking a visionary and handson Director of Engineering, AI Efficiency to build the internal AI ecosystem at MNTN. This role will be pivotal in designing and scaling AIpowered tools, resources, and workflows across all departments—from Operations to Customer Success to Sales to Product Marketing, Finance, and People. As a core member of the engineering leadership team, youll report directly to the CTO and partner crossfunctionally to shape how AI transforms the way we work.

What You’ll Do:
  • Define and execute MNTN’s internal AI strategy in partnership with the CTO, COO, and department leaders.
  • Identify highimpact opportunities to apply AI across all teams—including Sales, Operations, Customer Success, Product Marketing, Finance, and People.
  • Design, build, and deploy scalable AI tools, APIs, and applications to automate workflows and enhance internal decisionmaking.
  • Develop internal platforms and infrastructure to support rapid experimentation and secure, scalable AI deployment.
  • Empower crossfunctional teams with intuitive AIpowered solutions that increase productivity and reduce manual effort.
  • Build and lead a highperforming AI engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and technical excellence.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for responsible AI development, data governance, and model performance evaluation.
  • Stay on top of emerging technologies and incorporate cuttingedge advances in machine learning and LLMs into MNTN’s internal systems.
    • What Youll Bring:
      • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with 4+ years focused on AIML development
      • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role managing technical teams
      • Strong experience with LLMs, NLP, generative AI, and MLOps frameworks
      • Proven track record of building internal tools or platforms with measurable business impact
      • Excellent communication skills with an ability to translate technical capabilities into business value
      • Experience working crossfunctionally with departments
      • Passion for building elegant, maintainable, and humancentered solutions using AI
      • Familiarity with enterprise SaaS environments or AdTech ecosystems
        • Nice to Have:
          • Experience with data privacy, security, and compliance in AI applications
          • Contributions to opensource AI projects or published research
