Role:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be a pivotal member of our product platform team, directly shaping the robustness and user experience of our industryleading iOS, Android, and Web applications. You will be instrumental in maintaining our highquality bar, initially taking ownership of key manual testing responsibilities while strategically driving increased automation coverage across our product suite. This role offers the opportunity to own complex features endtoend, collaborate with diverse crossfunctional teams, and significantly impact our mission to revolutionize financial interactions.

Location: Remote Europe (EU Time Zone availability is a strict requirement)

What Youll Do:
  • Manual Testing Ownership: Immediately take ownership of critical manual testing responsibilities, ensuring the timely and highquality release of our iOS, Android, and Web applications. This includes comprehensive functional, regression, and exploratory testing of new features and existing functionalities.
  • Strategic Automation Drive: Dedicate significant time to researching, designing, developing, and implementing robust, scalable automated test frameworks and suites for UI, API, and integration layers across mobile (iOS, Android) and web platforms. Your goal will be to significantly reduce the reliance on manual testing over time.
  • Test Plan & Strategy Development: Develop and evolve comprehensive test strategies and plans for major features and critical product initiatives, encompassing functional, performance, security, and accessibility testing.
  • ShiftLeft Quality Advocate: Embed quality practices earlier in the development lifecycle by collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams from inception through deployment.
  • Performance & Reliability Contribution: Contribute to implementing and monitoring performance, scalability, and reliability testing, working with SRE and backend teams to identify bottlenecks and ensure optimal application performance under load.
  • DataDriven Insights: Utilize telemetry, analytics, and crash reporting tools to gather insights into user behavior and identify areas for quality improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, providing technical guidance and contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence within the engineering organization.
  • CustomerCentric Focus: Act as a strong advocate for the enduser, ensuring a seamless, intuitive, and consistent experience across all platforms, and actively incorporating customer feedback into testing efforts.
    • What Youll Bring:
      • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET) roles
      • Experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies, with the ability to quickly master new features and build comprehensive test cases.
      • Strong expertise in test automation framework design and implementation for complex distributed systems.
      • Experience with Type Script
      • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Playwright, Cypress, Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, Jest, Pytest, K6, Maestro
      • Strong understanding of API testing principles and tools, such as Postman, OpenAPISwagger, gRPCurl
      • Familiarity with cloudnative architectures, such as GCP, and containerization technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes
      • Experience with CICD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the development workflow
      • Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
      • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working asynchronously in a remotefirst, crossfunctional team environment.
        • Bonus Points:
          • Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies
          • Familiarity with security testing principles and tools.
          • Familiarity with Python or C#
          • Understanding of observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
          • Prior experience working with FinTech products or regulated industries.
          • Knowledge of blockchain technologies, Bitcoin, or the Lightning Network protocol.
          • Contributions to opensource projects or relevant technical communities.
            • Compensation for services is location dependent.
