Mobile App Developer React Native

What youll be doing

Futures mobile app products are a core source of revenue and projected growth. You will be part of Futures technology investment, focused on rolling out new apps for our broad range of brands.

Reporting to the Tech Lead, youll be an important member of Futures Apps Team, working in close collaboration with the wider Technology & Engineering department.

Your aim will be to contribute to the delivery of a scalable, well structured, efficient “multibrand” app platform integrated with a broader range of internal and external services.

The job will involve working on both greenfield projects, using the latest libraries and best practice, and maintaining and improving legacy systems. You will work with Senior Developers and the team lead on the development of software components, refactoring existing code and working in collaboration with other teams to build new services and products.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

• React Native and TypeScript expertise with a track record delivering highquality iOS and Android apps, including diverse theming and UX considerations (Tamagui, accessibility, etc.).
• Effective communicator able to convey technical concepts to nontechnical audiences and lead collaborative teams using GitGitFlow, with peer review best practices.
• Experience with data handling from databases and APIs, with an understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Vector, Graph) and asynchronous architectures (queues, topics, subscriptions, and event sourcing).
• Experience with modern DevOps practices, including CICD pipelines, AWS, and related tools.
• Broader technical proficiency across Swift, JavaKotlin for native mobile, modern web development, and AI tooling (e.g., Cursor).
