Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PW Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in driving the design, implementation, and management of robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure and CICD pipelines that support our cuttingedge projects. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform to enable seamless software delivery and infrastructure automation. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our cloud environments, directly impacting the success of our global technology initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD) pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to automate software delivery processes.
• Manage container orchestration platforms, primarily Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of containerized applications.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources efficiently and consistently.
• Write and maintain automation scripts in Bash, PowerShell, and Python to support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting activities.
• Implement and manage secrets and security configurations within pipelines, utilizing best practices for Secrets Management and RoleBased Access Control (RBAC) to safeguard sensitive information.
• Utilize Helm charts for Kubernetes application deployment and management, streamlining application lifecycle operations.
• Monitor, log, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications using advanced logging and monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance.
• Support and enforce change management processes, including documentation and updates to the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), to maintain compliance and operational integrity.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams globally, demonstrating strong business acumen and time management skills to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
• Ensure secure configuration management practices are followed to protect cloud infrastructure and applications from vulnerabilities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational processes.

• Requirements

  • Kubernetes: Expertise in container orchestration, managing clusters, deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting in production environments.
  • Azure DevOps: Proficient in designing and managing CICD pipelines, repositories, and project boards within Azure DevOps.
  • GitHub Actions: Experience creating and maintaining automated workflows for build, test, and deployment processes.
  • CICD Pipelines: Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment principles, tools, and best practices.
  • Docker: Skilled in containerizing applications, managing Docker images, and working with Docker registries.
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS): Deep knowledge of AKS for deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications on Azure.
  • Terraform: Proficient in writing and maintaining infrastructure as code to automate cloud resource provisioning and management.
  • Bash Shell Scripting: Ability to write and debug shell scripts for automation and operational tasks.
  • PowerShell: Experience scripting in PowerShell for Windowsbased automation and cloud management.
  • Python: Competent in Python scripting for automation, integration, and tooling development.
  • YAML: Skilled in authoring and managing YAML files for configuration of pipelines, Kubernetes manifests, and other automation tools.
  • JSON: Familiarity with JSON for configuration, data interchange, and API interactions.
  • Secrets Management: Experience managing sensitive data such as API keys, passwords, and certificates securely within pipelines and cloud environments.
  • RoleBased Access Control (RBAC): Knowledge of implementing and managing RBAC policies to enforce least privilege access.
  • Helm: Proficient in using Helm charts for packaging, configuring, and deploying Kubernetes applications.
  • Logging and Monitoring: Experience with tools and techniques for monitoring cloud infrastructure and applications, analyzing logs, and responding to incidents.
  • Change Management Process: Understanding of formal change management procedures to ensure controlled and documented changes.
  • Configuration Management Database (CMDB): Familiarity with maintaining accurate records of IT assets and configurations.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong background in automating infrastructure provisioning and management using code.
