Job description

Our client is looking for a quality-focused professional to support the testing efforts for both new and existing software products. This role will involve planning, executing, and maintaining automated and manual tests to ensure the highest product quality while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical documentation to provide timely and constructive feedback.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities; identify, document, and track bugs effectively.
  • Design, build, and run automation scripts using open-source tools.
  • Organize testing workflows to ensure alignment with client requirements and development timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including developers and product managers, to identify and refine system requirements.
  • Review and analyze debugging results to assist with issue resolution.
  • Monitor and report on quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open issue counts.
  • Investigate the root causes of non-conforming software and support the implementation of corrective solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to continually enhance QA processes.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar QA role, with strong exposure to automation.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant experience working in software development environments, utilizing QA methodologies and tools.
  • Proficient in using automated testing tools.
  • Solid hands-on experience with SQL and scripting, particularly with C# and .NET technologies.
  • Familiarity with OpenTelemetry for monitoring and observability.
  • Strong working knowledge of Apache Pulsar.
  • In-depth understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Flexibility to collaborate with teams across different time zones.
