Mining Account Coordinator

Role Description

The Mining Account Coordinator (MAC) is responsible for ensuring remote support, profitable sales growth and high levels of customer satisfaction for the assigned mine customers. Key responsibilities of this role include supporting the MTG Regional Sales Manager, Kal Tire stores and the customer or Kal Tire onsite tire service staff through the various tire related product and service needs of each site. MAC is assigned multiple mine sites as part of their complete portfolio.

Due to the unique nature of mines, the support needs are quite different from our field service commercial customers. Mining fleets typically operate in harsh environments, remote locations and work twentyfour seven shifts. Site tire services may be provided by the Kal Tire, or they may be completed with customer selfservice but in either case equipment down time is critical and Kal Tire must respond quickly and ensure suitable products are routed in the most efficient manner possible. MAC’s role is uniquely positioned to provide industry expertise, develop deeper account relationships, and deliver a level of service that exceeds that available through any other supply channels.

This role will be responsible for working closely with the MTG Regional Sales Manager ensuring customer commitments are fulfilled and will be counted on to identify strategies within each mining site to improve service, reduce transaction friction, and create a loyalty that provides a long term mutually beneficial relationship. MAC supports consistent, profitable growth in revenue through planning and collaboration with the retail team members, forecasting and planning for seasonal and long life cycle product sales, and promoting the full spectrum of Kal Tire’s product and service offering. This role ensures that Kal Tire’s internal team at the various service and store locations understand the customer’s needs, are living up to customer commitments, delivering ongoing value and behaving in ways that align with the Kal Tire AIMS.
