Job Overview:
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality of our products, by creating thorough test coverage and ensuring accurate testing. This role will allow you to use your QA expertise and leadership skills throughout the Software Development Life Cycle. You will lead the testing efforts, including mentoring team members in testing standards. We’re looking for a skilled, detailoriented team player who can effectively collaborate on various projects. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and other qa team members to ensure quality is the focus throughout the SDLC lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Analyze requirements in order to plan and execute test cases to ensure thorough and accurate testing.
Lead quality assurance efforts for a team throughout the entire SDLC process.
Work closely with Development, Product, Design, and QA teams to uphold our quality standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
Communicate test status and risk updates to all stakeholders early and frequently. Promote a culture of quality across the organization throughout the entire SDLC with a shift left mindset.
Provide thorough documentation of defects found during testing to aid in efficient debugging and root cause analysis.
Analyze defect leakage for root cause analysis and remediation efforts needed. Test across Database, API, web, and mobile applications.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in quality assurance
Experience with project management and test management tools (Jira, Xray, etc.) Experience leading test efforts within a team
Experience mentoring team members on QA standards and proper test techniques Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure
Experience with executing deployment pipelines
Experience testing API, web, and mobile applications
Experience writing test cases and test plans and ensuring the proper execution
Experience monitoring automation results for failures to report application defect
Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects with minimal supervision.
Excellent problemsolving, analytical, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide and support team members
