The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience coding in Python and SQL, with the ability to understand and translate scientific business processes into functional applications for internal stakeholders. A background in science or engineering is required, ideally with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data science, computer science, bioinformatics, or a related field. Familiarity with generative AI is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should be effective communicators capable of collaborating with scientists and process development teams. While industry background is flexible, the most important qualifications are solid programming ability and an interest in building internal tools. PhDs will not be considered for this role. Candidates should be prepared to complete a coding test and present their solution as part of the interview process.

Key Responsibilities: We are looking for a data scientist, preferably with science or engineering background and programming skills to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will:
Collaborate with different stakeholders across the business to gather requirements and translate them into code. Develop and maintain applications and data pipelines using Python, JavaScript, and SQL. Design and deploy database for valuable data assets comming from different parts of the business. Crerate interactive frontend using React and Plotly Dash for a variety of internally developed applications. Utilize Git for version control and collaborative development. Apply data engineering principles to ensure robust and scalable solutions. Engage in information modeling and semantic modeling. Apply AI tools and create AI agents to enhance scientific workflows and digital capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors’s degree and 2 years of data science experience OR Masters degree Proficiency in Python programming. Strong knowledge of JavaScript and React and prior experience in frontend development. Experience with Git for version control. Advanced SQL skills. Design, implement, and manage cloudbased solutions using AWS services such as S3, RDS, and EC2. Familiarity with data engineering principles and ETL tools. Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with various stakeholders. Agile or Scrum methodology experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a biopharma environment. Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to tackle complex digital challenges. Ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic team environment. Experience with data science tools such as Databricks, Spotfire, tableau, or Power BI. Experience with Docker for containerizing applications and managing development environments Handson experience with machine learning, predictive modeling, or AIdriven applications. Prior experience developing web applications with Plotly Dash. Experience or familiarity with information modeling and semantic modeling, especially in a biopharma setting. Exposure to generative AI tools and techniques.Basic Qualification: Masters degree OR Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience OR Associates degree and 6 years of experience OR High school diploma GED and 8 years of experience
