The Role
At Numan, we’re on a mission to become a truly personalised, integrated digital healthcare platform, delivering behaviourally intelligent, outcomesdriven care.
We’re looking for an experienced behavioural science professional to join as our Behavioural Medicine, Preventative Health Lead.
In this strategic role, you’ll embed behavioural science into the product experience across the full lifecycle, helping design and validate evidencebased interventions that support longterm patient engagement and habit formation. You’ll work across disciplines alongside product, design, clinical and engineering teams, ensuring that everything we build is rooted in behavioural insight.
This is a chance to shape how preventative health is delivered in digital care.
Youll be:
Designing Behaviourally Intelligent Products
Conducting behavioural audits of UXUI, journeys, and content.
Developing behavioural personas and journey maps tied to clinical goals.
Applying frameworks like COMB, TDF, BCT taxonomies, and intervention mapping to shape our approach.
Creating behavioural intervention strategies using logic models, behavioural triggers, and habit formation techniques.
Driving Strategic Integration
Working within a crossfunctional product squad, embedded in the Behavioural Medicine function.
Contributing to key planning sessions, design sprints, and decisionmaking forums.
Collaborating on AI and human coaching strategies to support longterm behaviour change.
Leading Measurement & Validation
Defining behavioural outcomes and developing metrics to evaluate success.
Designing experimental validation plans, including AB tests and engagement analysis.
Supporting clinical research with integrated behavioural components.
Conducting competitor benchmarking to identify opportunities for differentiation.
We’re looking for someone who has:
Deep expertise in applied behavioural science within digital health or adjacent fields.
Handson experience with behavioural experimentation, including AB testing, cohort analysis, and outcome measurement.
Strong working knowledge of COMB, TDF, BCT and related behavioural design models.
A track record of designing interventions focused on longterm engagement and habit development.
Experience developing behavioural strategies aligned to preventative health or other clinical domains (e.g., obesity, hormonal, or sexual health).
A collaborative mindset—able to work across product, UX, clinical, and engineering teams.
Confidence in communicating behavioural science concepts across functions.
A passion for empowering patients through preventative health solutions.
