Job description

We’re seeking a Billing Analyst to join our growing Finance team and help us keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. In this role, you’ll manage our endtoend billing and collections processes, partner with crossfunctional teams, and contribute directly to a positive customer experience through accurate invoicing, proactive support, and smart process improvements.

What Youll Do
  • Own the full billing lifecycle—from setting up customer subscriptions to issuing invoices and reconciling payments.
  • Monitor the billing queue and respond to internal and external inquiries with clarity and urgency.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success and Support teams to maintain customer subscription plans.
  • Oversee collections efforts with professionalism and consistency, ensuring healthy accounts receivable and minimal bad debt.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes by partnering with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support the Accounting team during monthend close and audits with reconciliations, reporting, and other support related to billing and collections.
  • Identify and drive improvements in our billing systems and processes
  • Support the accurate application of sales tax across jurisdictions and ensure compliance using tools such as Avalara.

  • What We are Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in billing, collections, or finance operations, ideally in a SaaS or highgrowth startup environment.
  • Handson experience with Stripe and NetSuite is required.
  • Strong understanding of billing systems and accounting fundamentals.
  • Proactive and analytical mindset.
  • Clear and confident communication skills—you can explain billing concepts to customers and collaborate crossfunctionally with ease.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and tools in a fastmoving environment.

  • Bonus Points For
  • Experience with SaaS billing models (usagebased, tiered, etc.)
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce and Avalara
  • Prior experience scaling billing processes in a startup environment

This range is for all USbased candidates and is built to be competitive nationwide by utilizing ranges for the Greater Boston area, regardless of where in the US an employee lives (or later relocates).
