The People Business Partner provides strategic and hands on HR partnership to an assigned capability group (business area) within Avalere Health.
They execute the company’s People Strategy through the delivery of tailored and forwardlooking People Plans, grounded in the unique needs of the business group they support.
They work in close collaboration with the People Centers of Excellence (Ops, Talent, D&I, and Career Experience) to drive organizational effectiveness, talent and performance management, learning and development, and a highperforming, inclusive employee experience.
What Youll Do
Act as a strategic advisor to leaders within the assigned business group, with a deep understanding of their goals, challenges, and team dynamics.
Execute the People Strategy by delivering a tailored People Plan aligned to business needs and enterprisewide priorities.
Partner with the Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated people solutions across the areas of talent, development, performance, and culture.
Use data and insights to identify trends, diagnose root causes, and inform recommendations that support team and organizational effectiveness.
Coach leaders through key talent processes including performance management, compensation planning, promotions, and succession.
Manage complex employee relations cases in line with internal policies and local employment law, ensuring fairness and consistency.
Foster a culture of inclusion, high performance, and continuous development within the business group.
Champion companywide programs led by the People Centres of Excellence, adapting their delivery based on business context and readiness.
Maintain strong, trustbased relationships with business and People team stakeholders to enable proactive, solutionsoriented support.
About You
Proven experience in a People Business Partner or equivalent role, supporting senior leaders and business teams.
Strong business acumen with the ability to understand strategic priorities and align people solutions accordingly.
Experience navigating and resolving complex employee relations issues.
Solid understanding of talent management practices, including recruitment, development, performance, and succession planning.
Skilled in organizational design and managing change through restructuring or transformation.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and recommendations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and influence at all levels.
Comfortable collaborating across time zones and planning work accordingly, especially when partnering with global or COE teams based in other regions.
Experience working in a fastpaced, matrixed, and evolving environment.
HR certification preferred (e.g., CIPD or SHRM), or equivalent experience.
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred—or equivalent experience.
Experience working in an Advertising Agency, Service Business, the Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry is desirable.
