Description

TPMA is growing our consulting team to better serve the needs of our clients and the ecosystems we support. Successful Associates will exercise considerable independent judgment and be teamoriented, driven professionals who can provide project support in the design, analysis, and completion of projects for TPMA clients. TPMA is committed to delivering results-oriented consulting practices for stakeholders and clients seeking to demonstrate project impact through innovative best practice strategies. Duties will include project research and coordination, participation in client meetings, report writing and preparation. Associates will partner with internal team members for project coordination while demonstrating and cultivating expertise in research, evaluation, workforce, and economic development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Development of deliverable outlines and content based on the project plan and guidance from the project lead.
  • Begin to learn the basics of the content area by working on a variety of projects and tasks and engaging in conversation about content area concepts.
  • Quantitative and qualitative data gathering and analysis.
  • Summarize and analyze information collected during focus groups, interviews, town halls, and strategy sessions.
  • Draft written reports and prepare customer presentations.
  • On-site project support, including primary data collection, attending meetings, and translating discussions and research into narrative.
  • Coordinates with Project Lead and client to ensure timely and successful project execution.
  • Ensures that high-quality and high-value services are provided to clients.
  • Support client relationships through successful completion of project-related tasks
  • Serve as project support across portfolio of projects, supporting successful delivery, including administrative tasks related to day-to-day project support; coordinate meetings; manage calendar invitations; coordinate schedules of internal and external attendees; develop agendas, pre-reads, and slide decks; take and distributes notes; identifies next steps; completes follow-up tasks
Requirements

SUCCESS CRITERIA:

  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Extremely organized; strong attention to detail and ability to balance multiple priorities while delivering consistent results
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook
  • Displays enthusiasm, willingness to learn quickly, and a genuine sense of initiative
  • Demonstrates a high sense of urgency to communicate challenges, offer solutions, and deliver results

EDUCATION/TRAINING

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Public Administration, Economics, Liberal Arts, Nonprofit Management, or related field; or commensurate experience.
  • Experience in workforce development, education, economic/community development, and/or employment with a related organization preferred.

OFFICE LOCATION

  • Remote position
  • Travel within the U.S. may be required.
