Medical Assistant Optometry (Full-Time)

Aria Care Partners – Based in Your Local Area
Location: Your home market within a 2–3-hour driving radius. Most facilities are within 2 hours or less.
? Schedule: Tuesday–Friday (4 days/week, 32 hours)
Travel Required: Yes – mileage reimbursement + lodging/meals as needed

What You’ll Do
  • Set up the mobile vision clinic before the doctor arrives
  • Escort patients (including wheelchair transport) to and from the exam area
  • Assist with vision pre-testing and glasses support
  • Transcribe basic medical notes using our system (training provided)
  • Travel to different facilities daily within your assigned area (up to 3 hours away)
  • Overnight lodging and meals provided when travel exceeds 2.5 hours
  • Mileage reimbursement and paid drive time for travel beyond your normal commute
Requirements

 

Who You Are
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
  • Comfortable with long-distance driving and occasional overnight stays
  • Have 1+ year of relevant experience, ideally in senior care or healthcare
  • Physically able to escort patients or push wheelchairs (up to 200 lbs)
  • Tech-friendly with basic computer skills for patient note entry
  • Professional in appearance and communication
