Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Model Portfolio Specialist to join its National Accounts team at WisdomTree, reporting to the Head of National Accounts and Head of Client Solutions.
The primary responsibility will be centered around the sales and distribution of WisdomTree’s model portfolios in the Wirehouse/IBD Channels.
This position represents an opportunity to drive accelerated growth in a focus area of WisdomTree’s business.

Success in this role would be achieved by:
  • Drive sales of WisdomTree Model Portfolios within the Wirehouse and Independent Broker Dealer (IBD) channels.
  • Cultivate and expand relationships with key centers of influence across our distribution partners to build leverage and impact.
  • Partner closely with the Model Investment Team and Marketing to deliver timely strategy updates to internal Sales teams, clients, and prospects.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to support and accelerate growth efforts with the Sales Team.
  • Proactively engage in sales efforts independently, covering a broad territory across multiple Wirehouse firms.
  • Coordinate and host regional advisor meetings alongside Sales and third-party partners.
  • Provide strategic input to enhance and streamline processes through automation and technology.
  • Represent WisdomTree’s model portfolio offerings in presentations to large groups of advisors and clients, promoting model adoption.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development and prospecting efforts.

  • Experience and required skill set:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience within the financial services industry, with a strong background in model portfolios.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Deep passion for financial markets and the ETF industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write, edit, and proofread marketing and sales collateral.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to think strategically and present ideas effectively.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

  • Licenses and Certifications:
  • Active FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
