Role Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, technically competent Deployment Specialist to join our team. Based out of Minnesota, the Deployment Specialist will play a critical role in successfully onboarding customers by deploying our robots at customer sites, conducting training, and ensuring a smooth introduction to Avidbots technology.


This is a customerfacing, fieldbased role, perfect for someone who enjoys travel, working independently, and making a tangible impact in hightech environments. You will support the rollout of our robots across North America and act as a key liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure deployment excellence.


This role is a travelheavy position, approximately up to 100% within North America


Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer sites across North America to lead deployments, site assessments, and training sessions for customers, partners, and vendors
  • Ensure cleaning plans and robot configurations are safe, effective, and aligned with customer expectations
  • Monitor robot performance postdeployment and provide analytics and feedback to internal teams
  • Work with internal departments (Shipping, Product, Engineering, QA, Support, etc.) to resolve deploymentrelated issues
  • Document deployment activities using Salesforce and internal systems
  • Collect and communicate customer feedback during and after deployments to relevant stakeholders
  • Manage and update customerfacing training materials (manuals, procedures, videos, support site)
  • Assist with robots used for demos, tradeshows, roadshows, and customer visits
  • Schedule and lead predeployment calls with customers, and provide postdeployment followups and support
  • Manage travel logistics and expenses in compliance with company policies

    • Required Qualifications:

      • 3+ years in a customerfacing, fieldbased technical role (deployments, onboarding, field engineering, etc.)
      • Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working handson with hardwaresoftware products
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      • Selfmotivated and comfortable working independently in dynamic environment
      • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM and documentation tools
      • Hold a valid driver’s license and passport
      • Able to travel up 100% throughout North America
      • Successfully complete preemployment onboarding requirements, including background checks

        • Nice to Haves:

          • Experience with robotic deployments, automation technologies, or industrial equipment
          • Background in customer onboarding, technical training, or field support
          • Experience managing projects involving hardware, software, and customer coordination
          • Ability to interpret data reports and provide meaningful insights
          • Familiarity with safety protocols and site readiness assessments
