      Job Description

      The client is seeking a detailoriented and organized Grant Writer and Application Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of U.S. federal grant processes and will assist in identifying, preparing, and submitting compelling grant proposals aligned with programs such as HEART, FORGE Fatherhood, and READY4Life.


      Responsibilities:
      • Research and identify federal funding opportunities on SAM.gov and Grants.gov relevant to the mission and programs of Amen University and Love and Logic
      • Draft and prepare highquality, persuasive, and tailored grant applications
      • Maintain a grants calendar and track submission deadlines, reporting requirements, and followups
      • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary documentation and data
      • Ensure compliance with federal grant guidelines and application protocols
      • Maintain accurate and organized records of all applications submitted and responses received
      • Monitor trends in federal funding and recommend relevant new opportunities

              • Proven experience writing and submitting successful grant proposals for U.S. federal programs
              • Strong familiarity with SAM.gov and Grants.gov platforms
              • Excellent written communication and research skills
              • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively
              • Detailoriented with a proactive and strategic mindset
              • Experience supporting education, family, youth development, or social service programs is a strong plus
              • Techsavvy and comfortable working remotely using collaborative tools
