Position Summary:

Ready to shape the future of technology with your innovative sales skills? We are seeking a driven resultsoriented Senior Asset Buyer specializing in all aspects of the data center market, especially the server and networking equipment category. This role is pivotal in sourcing and acquiring endoflife or upgraded servers and networking equipment for resale in the secondary market. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your existing industry network and sales acumen to drive revenue growth while upholding our core values.

The Senior Asset Buyer position will have a dedicated budget to purchase equipment, with an eye toward selling that equipment profitably in the secondary market. The sales proceeds will be redeployed to fund additional asset acquisitions, creating a flywheel of success to help both the Buyer and Securis become more successful.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Source: Proactively hunt for toptier servers across a variety of exciting channels, from enterprise clients to data centers, VARs, and OEMs, unlocking new opportunities at every turn.
  • Negotiate & Maximize: Master the art of negotiation to secure the best purchase or consignment deals, ensuring maximum value for Securis and making every transaction a win.
  • Expand Your Network: Build and nurture powerful relationships across the ITAD industry, expanding your network to enhance our sourcing capabilities and create fresh growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate & Innovate: Work handinhand with our sales team, offering your expert insights on server and networking equipment valuations while supporting onsite client evaluations for maximum impact.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep your finger on the pulse of the secondary market, staying ahead of buyer trends and market dynamics to anticipate and fulfill the needs of brokers, endusers, and beyond.
  • Close with Confidence: Use your sharp sales instincts and exceptional closing skills to seal deals, drive revenue, and contribute to Securis’ growth and success.
    • Qualifications:

      • Proven experience in ITAD buying or a related sales role.
      • Established network of contacts within the server and data center industry.
      • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
      • Selfmotivated and resultsdriven with a teamplayer mentality.
        • Bonus Points:
