We are seeking a supply chain professional with wellrounded business and analytical experience to join our team in a consulting capacity. This candidate will ensure successful execution of activities related to assigned consulting projects such as 3PL selections, operational value assessment, facility optimization, etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in distribution operations, identifying opportunities to optimize processes via LEANSix Sigma systems improvements and performing analytical analysis to justify recommendations.

What you will do:

  • Perform DC Operational Assessments to evaluate and make improvement recommendations to warehouse systems, processes, labor, and space
  • Record time study data of operational processes, analyze data to identify process improvement opportunities, and determine possible improvement opportunities and cost savings
  • Leverage data analysis tools to perform detailed analysis that drive insights and highlight opportunities
  • Develop strategic recommendations that could include automation, systems, or design initiatives
  • Perform financial analysis to understand financial implications including determining ROI, payback periods, investments, and other financial considerations
  • Create detailed, highimpact presentations that document strategic insights, business cases, and client roadmaps
  • Remain uptodate on the latest supply chain trends, technologies, and system landscape
  • Cross train on other consulting service offerings such as network strategy, facility design, S&OP projects
    • What you will bring:

      • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related fields is required
      • 1 – 3+ years of professional industry experience preferred
      • Strong analytical abilities to turn mass data into project insights utilizing relational databases such as SQL
      • Ability to identify barriers to productivity and optimize warehouse processes via LEAN process improvement, warehouse systems, facility design concepts, etc.
      • Ability to justify recommended solutions including financial analysis
      • Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problemsolving techniques
      • Proficient in MS Application Office Suite including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
      • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or Smart Sheet is a plus
      • Requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal with project team, customers, and vendors
      • Requires excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
      • Time study experience preferred
      • Ability to successfully work on projects with others towards a common goal
      • Must practice the highest level of confidentiality of clients’ intellectual property
      • Adapt to changes in work (i.e. new client requirements or specifications)
      • Adjust working hours to accommodate busy periods
      • Expected Travel Time: About 2550%
      • This position can be performed from anywhere in the United States, and is fully remote
