Role Summary:
In this role, you will:
Lead the rapid development and deployment of healthcare analytics products and decisionsupport tools.
Design and manage ETL pipelines, leveraging both traditional (e.g., MySQL) and modern platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) to transform clinical and operational data into actionable insights.
Build and deploy interactive applications using R and Python with Shiny, Streamlit, Quarto, and R Markdown (Rmd)
Collaborate directly with healthcare clients, iterating on analytics products based on feedback and measurable outcomes.
Implement and tune statistical and machine learning models to power diagnostics, forecasts, and simulations.
Mentor junior developers and help drive best practices across a small, elite team.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and deploy productiongrade analytics products that support healthcare decisionmakers.
Translate product requirements into technical architecture and fast prototypes.
Maintain and optimize endtoend data pipelines, ETL processes, and model deployment workflows.
Drive quality, performance, and speed in analytics delivery across multiple clients.
Engage with product leadership and customers to deeply understand problems, present solutions, and adapt based on feedback.
Required Qualifications:
U.S. work authorization is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of software development experience, including leading teams or projects.
Proven expertise developing analytics products in healthcare settings (required).
Strong proficiency in Python andor R (required)
Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL preferred); experience designing and maintaining data pipelines.
Selfstarter comfortable with ambiguity and fastpaced iteration.
Excellent collaboration skills and customerfacing communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience building solutions in Shiny, Streamlit, Quarto, and Rmd (preferred).
Experience using Posit Connect or similar tools for deploying analytics products.
Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or other modern cloudbased data platforms.
AgileScrum development process familiarity.
Working knowledge of AWS, Linux, and enterprisescale data architectures.
Experience optimizing data workflows and applications for realworld client environments.
The estimated base salary range for this job is $140,000 $200,000 USD. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $161,000 $250,000 USD. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
