Senior Field Application Engineer Switching

Provide expert technical support for integrating NVIDIA switches into OEM partner solutions, resolving complex hardware, software, and deployment challenges.

Serve as the technical lead for NVIDIA switching products, partnering closely with sales account managers to deliver highperformance AI datacenter solutions.

Build and maintain strong technical relationships with customer engineers, architects, and decisionmakers at key enterprise AI accounts.

Identify customer architectures and translate evolving requirements into actionable insights for product and solution development.

Collaborate crossfunctionally with internal engineering, product, and support teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence.

What we need to see:

• ​Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

• 8+ years in system design or technical customer support in the switching and routing industry.

• Deep understanding of datacenter hardware including servers, storage systems, and network devices, with extensive experience debugging Ethernet or IB switchesrouters and L2–L4 network protocols.

• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with meticulous attention to detail, capable of navigating complex technical challenges.

• Proven ability to multitask and adapt in fastpaced, evolving environments while managing multiple priorities and initiatives.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work directly with customers and crossfunctional teams.

• Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience integrating silicon and networking OS into partner solutions.

  • Experience working with switch rollout in largescale datacenters.

  • Networking knowledge TCPIP, Ethernet switching and routing protocols, Infiniband protocol, RDMA, RoCE, NICs, Cables etc.

  • Knowledge of SONIC, Cumulus, MLNX_OS or equivalent switching OS.

  • CC++, Python and Ansible programming skills.

  • Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 160,000 USD 253,000 USD for Level 4, and 192,000 USD 304,750 USD for Level 5.

    You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
