Role Overview

The Director of HEOR will be Solera’s internal expert on clinical and economic outcomes evaluation. This highly crossfunctional and clientfacing role will lead the strategy and execution of costsavings models and RWE studies, while collaborating closely with external actuaries, internal data teams, and commercial leaders.

You will build payerready economic models, oversee rigorous claimsbased analyses, and help translate findings into clear, credible insights that support sales and performance validation.

Responsibilities

Economic Modeling & Value Analytics

  • Develop and refine ROI and costsavings models to support value propositions for Solera’s digital and clinical offerings
  • Ensure accuracy of assumptions, methods, and outputs through rigorous quality assurance
  • Partner with thirdparty actuarial and HEOR consultants to validate results and methodologies
    • RealWorld Evidence (RWE) Generation

      • Oversee payergrade outcomes studies leveraging claims data and other realworld data sources
      • Translate clinical outcomes into economic endpoints relevant to payers and employers
      • Align evidence generation with evolving payer expectations and strategic priorities
        • ClientFacing Strategy & Communication

          • Serve as a subject matter expert during sales conversations and contracting discussions
          • Interface directly with health plan actuaries, medical economics teams, and clinical executives
          • Develop externalfacing deliverables including ROI models, white papers, and client decks
            • Education

              • Bachelor’s degree required.
              • Master’s or higher degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Health Economics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, or similar) or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
                • Required Qualifications

                  • 6+ years of experience in health economics or outcomes research within a payer, digital health, or healthcare services environment.
                  • Demonstrated experience producing payergrade health economics evidence.
                  • Proven track record selling into health plans and effectively communicating value to technical and actuarial buyers.
                  • Strong modeling skills with the ability to translate findings into sales enablement materials.
                  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills—able to simplify complex data for various audiences.

                      • Background working with digital health companies or employers.
                      • Marketfacing presence—comfortable engaging with clients and partners.
                      • Familiarity with realworld evidence (RWE) generation and valuebased contracting approaches.

                              • This is a remote position and must be located in the United States. Some travel may be required to meet with the Solera team for planning sessions and corporate events.
