Job Description:
BCubed Engineering Corporation is currently hiring highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineers in Warrenton, VA. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bringing our products through the systems engineering life cycle, to include designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that support our customer missions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of hardware, software, and network components to achieve optimal system performance and reliability. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with a strong technical background and a passion for building robust systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement complex systems architecture to technical requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather system requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Evaluate and select appropriate hardware, software, and network components for system implementation
- Support installation and configuration of system hardware, operating systems, and software applications
- Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth and efficient system functionality
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration details, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, network engineers, and DSP developers, to ensure cohesive system integration
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams, assisting with system-related issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus
- Proven experience working as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in designing and implementing complex systems architecture
- Solid understanding of hardware, operating systems, network protocols, and software applications
- Experience with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must have a U.S. TS/SCI Security Clearance (required).
