Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced permanentfulltime Scrum Master to join our team focusing on guiding agile teams to deliver technical implementation and business requirements to ensure the solution meets operational needs for monitoring, oversight, and investigation. As a member of this project, you will help ensure the delivery of healthcare to millions of Americans by monitoring and preventing fraud, waste, and abuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
  • Coach and mentor team members and stakeholders in AgileScrum principles and best practices.
  • Partner with product owners to maintain a wellgroomed and prioritized backlog, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs and mission objectives.
  • Proactively identify and resolve team impediments and foster a continuous improvement mindsetTrack team progress through agile metrics such as burndown charts, velocity, and sprint reporting to inform delivery and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including technical leads, program managers, and business owners to align priorities and manage expectations.
  • Facilitate crossfunctional collaboration between engineers, designers, DevOps, and QA to ensure highquality, incremental deliverySupport a healthy team culture rooted in transparency, and trust.

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software delivery environments.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Agile teams in the federal government space.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and frameworks.
  • Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills.
  • Experience with AgileScrum methodologies.
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
  • Must reside in the Continental US.
  • Depending on the government agency, specific requirements may include public trust background check or security clearance.

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with insurance or healthcare marketplace operations.
  • Knowledge of insurance broker regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Background in fraud investigation or risk assessment.
  • Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) or equivalent Agile project management platforms.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
