The Director of Business Development plays a critical role in driving strategic growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities across target markets. This position blends sales leadership with market insight and cross-functional collaboration to expand Creation Technologies’ customer base and revenue streams. With a strong emphasis on lead generation, relationship development, and long-term value creation, the Director helps shape go-to-market strategies, align internal teams, and act as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and external partners.

Champion New Business Growth

  • Drive strategic growth by identifying, cultivating, and securing new business opportunities aligned with Creation’s long-term market objectives and competitive positioning.

  • Generate leads, convert prospects, and expand the customer base using tools to track performance and forecast growth.

  • Leverage technical expertise and EMS industry knowledge to elevate Creation’s position as a strategic, trusted partner within the electronics manufacturing landscape.

Drive Sales Strategy & Perpetuate Brand Awareness

  • Maintain continuous engagement and proactive follow-up with prospective customers to nurture relationships and advance new business opportunities.

  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align offerings with market trends and customer demands.

  • Continuously assess and respond to shifts in the competitive landscape to ensure sustained market relevance and strategic differentiation.

Manage Internal Business Processes & Influence Stakeholders

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive execution of strategic business development initiatives, ensuring alignment and sustained momentum toward growth objectives.

  • Engage internal stakeholders to deliver strategic pricing models, market intelligence, and tailored value propositions that align with customer priorities and drive business outcomes.

  • Lead partnership negotiations and cultivate strategic relationships that drive mutual value, accelerate growth, and support long-term business objectives.

  • Contribute to company-wide projects, initiatives, or other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Require at least 5 years in contract manufacturing (Manufacturing and Business Management) or related field. 

  • Require at least 3 years in a leadership role (i.e., budgets, etc.)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technical or related field.

  • Focus on customer service as a top priority in a professional manner, with the ability to build and manage relationships in order to deliver business results that meet customer needs.

  • Proven successful track record in the following:

    • Account Planning – the ability to develop a strategic account plan to achieve the planned objectives in line with the company strategic plans; defines intermediate goals and contingencies.

    • Technological Proficiency – the ability to understand and apply manufacturing technology/solutions to provide Creation customers with competitive advantage.

  • Strong presentation, excellent written and verbal communications, negotiating, and interpersonal skills are essential.

  • Motivated Self Starter able to work remote and travel.

  • Ability to research and resolve problems while and working in a fast paced and team environment.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality are essential.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is mandatory. Proven CRM experience is an asset.

  • Familiarity with ISO standards 9001/2000, 13485, AS9100 is a plus

In accordance with pay transparency regulations, the anticipated starting salary for this position ranges from $180k-$200k USD annually. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and a range of benefits. Please note that this salary range is not guaranteed, and the final offer may vary based on experience, education, location, and shift. Additionally, the benefits and programs available may differ depending on the hire date, schedule type, and hours worked.
