Team Overview
Our team is responsible for building software in support of CoStar Groups sales teams. We think big; building innovative CRM features that empower our sales teams successes. We are a collaborative group with a mix of native mobile, data, API platform, and frontend skills, and we are working to drive our companys future with our proprietary CRM system.
Position Overview
The Director, Software Engineering, you will serve as the chief problem solver across multiple engineering teams, diving deep into the most complex technical challenges and guiding resolution with handson expertise. You will be expected to stay closely engaged with the details—actively contributing to software development, including writing and reviewing SQL and application code. This role demands a leader who thrives in the weeds, balances strategic oversight with tactical execution, and ensures projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. You will also be responsible for tracking progress across initiatives, removing roadblocks, and fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence.
This position is located in Richmond, VA and offers a schedule of Monday to Thursday in office and the option to work from home on Friday.
