Its a very exciting time of growth for our Spyglass Secuity team, and were currently hiring an Azure Security Consultant to collaborate and provide technical excellence for this awardwinning organization.

What will this role entail?

As a Spyglass M365 Azure Security Consultant, youll be part of a team recognized as a top managed security service provider (MSSP) with a history of delivering top security posture management services to our clients. In this role, you will assist in building and deploying solutions working with Microsoft Purview, Privileged Identity Management and governance strategies.

Some of your activities will include:

  • Collaborating with Quisitive team members and client technical managers and staff to understand security challenges
  • Setup and configuration of Microsoft Entra ID
  • Working with Defender for Microsoft 365 products to improve client security posture
  • Working with Defender for Endpoint for full endpoint protection & compliance integration within Intune Endpoint Manager
  • Working with team members to assist in client transitions to Microsoft Endpoint Manager and comanagement
  • Logging analytics and analyzing data via Azure Log Analytics
  • Developing, Updating, and Managing PowerShell scripting for automation
  • Setup and configuration of Conditional Access Policies
  • Setup and configuration of Privileged Identity Management
    • What’s required to be successful in this role?

      • First and foremost, you should enjoy what you do and have a passion for sharing knowledge!
      • 2–5+ years of experience in Azure security engineering, including configuring security controls, monitoring environments, and responding to incidents
      • Strong business acumen and a credible, professional appearance and good organizational skills
      • Ability to engage in customer settings and discern client business needs
      • Desire to work in a team environment and ability to work across organization functional boundaries
      • Ability to manage time effectively to a delivery planschedule
      • Previous consulting experience in a customerfacing role
      • Ability to travel occasionally for meetings when required
      • Experience with RMS, multifactor authentication (MFA), and SSPR
      • Experience working with Microsoft Purview
      • Experience with Microsoft Defender for:
        • O365 Email Protection and Exchange Online Protection
        • Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)
        • Endpoint
        • Identity
        • M365
            • What else would set me apart?

              • Previous experience with a Microsoft systems integrator
              • Azure Sentinel experience
              • Functional knowledge of Exchange Online
              • Functional knowledge of PowerShell, Azure Automation and Kusto Query Language (QKL)
              • Experience with MIP O365 Azure Unified Labeling (more AIP crossover with IRM)
              • Experience with DLP to secure Microsoft Cloud data
              • Network Security experience
              • Microsoft SC100, SC200, SC300, SC400, AZ500 certifications
