THE ROLE: TEMPORARY SENIOR SUPPLIER QUALITY SPECIALIST

Our Temporary Senior Supplier Quality Specialist works within the OLLY Quality team to execute, track, and report on all activities related to supplier quality programs. This role is responsible for providing operational quality support to suppliers and internal partners related to investigations, CAPAs, qualification activities, and supplier performance.This role is integral in ensuring OLLY has the bestincategory supplier quality management programs and systems to support our growing customer base and a more complex supply chain! This role reports to the Director, Supplier Quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate crossfunctionally & externally to investigate deviationsnon conformances & consumer complaints.Track and trend issues that may require further corrective or preventive action (CAPA)
  • Issue, track and trend supplier nonconformance (NCRs) to ensure timely resolution of nonconforming issues
  • Support the hold, release, inspection, rework &or destruction of nonconforming product. Provide timely internal &external communication regarding disposition
  • Manage the Material Review Board (MRB) process & reporting
  • Prepare & present supplier performance metrics and scorecards
  • Maintain OLLY’s quality databases, supplier documentation and approved supplier master list
  • Manage & continually improve OLLY standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
  • Collaborate on the maintenance & approval of product specifications, Quality Agreements & manuals
  • Support the supplier audit & qualification program, as needed
  • Provide Quality support for our supply partners & crossfunctional teams (i.e. Product, Supply Chain, RegulatoryAffairs), as needed
  • Serve as a key contact with our suppliers
  • Support internal and regulatory audits as needed
    • CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED

      • 5+ years of Quality AssuranceControl experience within a dietary supplement or food manufacturing environment(Dietary Supplement experience strongly preferred)
      • Working knowledge of 21 CFR 111 and 21 CFR 117.
      • BS Degree in a science related discipline (Biology, Nutrition, Food Science, Regulatory Affairs or other closely related discipline) or equivalent experience
      • Ability to collaborate across departments to maintain quality & compliance requirements
      • Strong computer skills in business technology platforms (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases, other enterprise applications). Experience with enterprise resource planning systems (ERP), quality management systems andor product lifecycle management (PLM) systems is preferred
      • Highly skilled in written and oral communication, detailoriented with strong organizational abilities, an analytical thinker with a positive attitude, and capable of working independently while proactively identifying and addressing roadblocks
      • PCQI andor HACCP certified, preferred
        • THE DETAILS

          LOCATION: Remote, Chicagoland area preferred.

          HOURS: 3040 hours per week, nonexempt

          MANAGER: Supplier Quality Director

          TRAVEL REQUIRED: up to 20%

          PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

          DURATION: August–December 2025

          The pay range for this position is $4244hour dependent on experience.
