Job description

We are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer on behalf of our client – a fastpaced, innovationdriven company based in New York with a startup mindset. This is a Remote position for an individual anywhere in the U.S. available to work 9am6pm EST.

This is not a managerial role, but we are seeking someone highly professional, selfdriven, and capable of independently setting priorities and executing tasks. The right candidate is expected to be mindful, demonstrate urgency, and be available in emergency situations (247) if needed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Own and manage CICD processes with Azure DevOps: Setup, optimize, and troubleshoot workflows and pipelines.
• Work fluently in AWS: Confident in managing and optimizing AWS services, with a particular focus on Lambda costefficiency and strategic use of newer features.
• Ensure observability and operational excellence: Use Datadog to set up monitoring, alerting, and performance dashboards. Proactively identify and escalate critical issues and their impact – even up to the CEO level.
• Collaborate across teams with a startuplevel understanding of urgency, autonomy, and accountability.
• Uphold high standards of system reliability, security, and performance.
