Our client, an exciting AI startup, is seeking a dynamic Development Engineer Lead with deep hands-on expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) or SaaS and a passion for building scalable solutions across diverse technology stacks. Based in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area, you will architect, code, and deploy innovative AI/ML and SaaS systems while creating product roadmaps, and performing hands-on coding. Key Responsibilities

Architect, design, and code advanced AI/ML-driven systems across varied tech stacks, ensuring best-in-class performance, scalability, and reliability.

Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI solutions: from ideation, prototyping, and development to deployment and continuous improvement.

Collaborate closely with founder to define and realize product vision.

Integrate models and algorithms into cloud-based applications, leveraging tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face, and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Airflow).

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in various applicable stacks; advocate engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, observability).

Monitor and evaluate model and system performance, drive rapid experimentation, and stay at the forefront of technology trends within AI and software development.

Ensure robust security, privacy, and compliance for all deployed solutions5.

Qualifications
